At IDOG Doodle Rescue, we collaborate with shelters nationwide to swiftly rescue Doodles in need. We welcome Doodles of all colors, coat types, and heartworm statuses. Even those with medical or behavioral challenges are embraced, provided we can offer the necessary care and place them in a loving foster home, and eventually, a forever home.
Rehome
At IDOG Doodle Rescue, we provide rehoming services to owners who need to find a new home for their Doodle. We work tirelessly to ensure that both the dog and the adoptive family are a perfect match, so they can thrive together. Our commitment extends to thorough assessments and matching processes, ensuring that every Doodle finds a loving and supportive environment. Whether it’s a change in circumstances or the need for a better fit, we’re here to help every Doodle transition smoothly into their new home.

Chip- Iowa is not with IDOG Rescue
Chip- Iowa is in foster care with our friends at Golden Retriever Rescue of Iowa (GRRoIowa) and is looking for his forever home!
Chip is a 4-year-old, 35-lb Labradoodle mix with a story as unique as he is. Rescued as a surprise stowaway during a breeder surrender, this resilient boy is officially ready to trade his past for a forever family. Chip is a world-class “Velcro dog” who lives for human connection—if you’re looking for a professional cuddler and a loyal co-pilot for road trips, he’s your guy!
While he’s a pro at relaxing, Chip also has a serious case of the “happy zoomies,” so a fenced yard is a must for his outdoor adventures. He’s currently working hard on his leash manners and “four on the floor” greetings; he’s a patient student who just needs a dedicated leader to help him shine. Chip is happy as an only child or with a canine sibling. Because he can be a little shy at first, he’d prefer a home that can offer him slow, gentle introductions to children.

Bindi is a delightful and very affectionate 10yr old 19lb spayed female Mini Aussiedoodle who loves to play! She is not good with small children and can be territorial around other dogs, but is great with older children and adults. Totally house trained and does not require a crate. She can be left alone for several hours and never damages anything in the home. She responds to basic commands and is very smart! 🐾

🐾 Say hello to Flannel — a sweet 13lb male puppy from Texas who is so grateful to be out of the shelter! He loves being carried around, snuggled in laps, and showered with affection. He is, simply put, a little love bug.
But Flannel needs our help. ❤️
He arrived with significant skin issues and an ear infection that is being evaluated by a vet today. He was pulled from a TX shelter after being surrendered as part of a hoarding case — but that hard start doesn`t define his story.
